We are an independent studio focused on making healthcare education clearer, fairer, and easier to use. We especially aim to get information to people right when and where it's most crucial.
We work at the intersection of medicine, design, and technology. We spend a lot of time thinking about how people learn, make decisions, and access reliable information in complex healthcare situations. Our team's backgrounds cover medicine, human factors, informatics, and systems design. We tackle problems from all angles, always starting with the question: "How should this actually work for the person using it?"
What We Do
We design tools that help people think and communicate better about health.
We map out healthcare journeys that are often overlooked or underserved.
We build clear structures for complex health topics, carefully backing everything with evidence.
We take a thoughtful, deliberate approach to our work. Some projects are already in motion; others are still taking shape. But every single thing we do begins with respect for the learner, the healthcare system, and the underlying science.
Our Principles
Clarity: If it's not easy to understand, it's not finished. We strive for plain language and intuitive design.
Reliability: We aim for accuracy and transparency. When using advanced tools like AI, we focus on methods that allow us to understand and explain how conclusions are reached, so information is trustworthy and verifiable.
Practicality: We care deeply about how our tools are used in real-world settings – considering context, potential hurdles, and ease of use in busy environments.
Access: We believe language, location, or internet access shouldn't prevent anyone from understanding essential health information.
Collaboration: The most effective solutions emerge when different perspectives come together, crossing traditional boundaries between fields.
We're building a space where health knowledge is crafted with care, so it truly reaches the people who need it in ways that make a real difference.
If you're working on something similar, we'd appreciate hearing from you.
